MyDocMaker runs entirely on your own machine — nothing is uploaded to build a PDF. Where an app has to sync, like the calendar, it stores the least it can and shows you exactly who can see what.
Personal use is free where it can be. When something costs money it is because it costs money to run, and the price is on the page rather than behind a form.
A small app that is done is better than a big one that is perpetually almost ready. Things ship when they work, and then they get left alone.
